Property Accountant (Contract-potential for hire)

Growing real estate investment and asset management company is seeking a Property Accountant to support a multi-state portfolio of commercial and historic properties. This position is expected to begin as a 3-6 month contract assignment with the potential for permanent hire. Looking for experience with property accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balance review

• Cash flow analysis and property-level financial reporting

• Loan compliance reporting and ownership allocations

• Partner with asset management teams and third-party property managers

• Analyze financial data and support process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar

• 2+ years of property accounting or real estate accounting experience

• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills

• Power BI experience a plus

• Proven ability to manage multiple properties and priorities
