We are seeking a Property Accountant to support the financial operations of its growing portfolio. This role will work closely with property management and leadership teams, playing a key part in maintaining accurate financials across multiple entities and ensuring smooth month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of properties/entities
• Prepare monthly financial statements and perform variance analysis
• Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Partner with property managers to support budgeting and financial performance
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience; property accounting or property management experience is a plus
• Experience working in a multi-entity environment and handling intercompany transactions
• Understanding of GAAP fundamentals
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with systems such as Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, or NetSuite is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
