This role is ideal for someone who likes to stay organized, work with purpose, and take ownership of a portfolio from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

• Own full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of multifamily properties
• Lead month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial review
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations with audit-ready support
• Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting and partner with operations on results
• Analyze financial performance and provide clear, actionable insights
• Review revenue and expense activity for accuracy and proper coding
• Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and improve processes
• Stay responsive and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders

Qualifications (Required)

• At least 1 year of accounting experience in a professional setting
• Experience with month-end close (accruals, reconciliations, financial review)
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas (VLOOKUP) and pivot tables
• Experience managing financial reporting across multiple accounts, entities, or properties
• Consistent and timely communication in a professional environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Yardi Voyager or a similar ERP/accounting system
• Background in property or real estate accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
