Introduction We are looking for a full-time Project Controller to join either our Saskatoon, Regina, or Calgary team! This position will report to the Manager of Project Services. Position Overview
Primary Responsibilities

Collaborate with and lead teams to deliver project results, on schedule and within budget limits.
Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support on‑time, on‑budget project delivery.
Develop, maintain, and update integrated project controls systems, including cost and schedule baselines.
Mentor and support project controls analysts, planners, and schedulers.
Prepare detailed schedules, identify critical paths, and maintain schedule integrity.
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all safety requirements.
Track project progress, analyze variances, and prepare performance reports for stakeholders.
Manage contractor and vendor inputs to ensure accurate cost and schedule alignment.
Update forecasts, assess impacts of changes, and support change management processes.
Calculate earned value and monitor KPIs to support proactive project decision‑making.
Support estimating, tendering, and risk management activities.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in project controls, cost control, or planning within multi‑disciplinary engineering projects.
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset.
Experience in mining, mineral processing, heavy industrial, or large‑scale infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with project controls and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, SAP, MS Project, or similar).
Strong understanding of project management frameworks, cost control principles, and scheduling best practices.
Familiarity with estimating, tendering, and risk management processes.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for both internal and client‑facing interactions.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on developing practical, data‑driven solutions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within diverse project teams.
