Gardner-Webb University Godbold College of Business invites applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting. We value quality teaching, and we seek enthusiastic scholars who will also enjoy working closely with undergraduate and graduate students in a Christian environment. Faculty members may be required to teach on-campus, off-campus, and in an online environment.

Other responsibilities may include supervising undergraduate/graduate/doctoral accounting students with internships, advising, scheduling, and research.

The successful candidate will:

· Teach in undergraduate, graduate, and/or doctoral accounting programs.

· Demonstrate continuous professional and educational growth.

· Provide accounting students with academic and professional advising.

· Contribute to on-going accreditation processes.

· Consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic and integrity by supporting University initiatives and performing other duties as assigned by the Dean.

Eligibility requirements for consideration include:

· Doctoral Degree in Accounting preferred (Ph.D. or DBA); ABD considered

· Research and/or consulting in the accounting discipline

· Teaching experience in this discipline is preferred

· Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills

· Record of successful collaboration and teamwork

· Commitment to the University mission
