SPECIAL NOTES:

This position is not eligible for telework. Applicant will be required to work in the Tallahassee Office located at 1801 Hermitage Blvd.

Due to the job duties of this position, the work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Interview will consist of: Oral interview questions and work samples. Work samples will be answered using Microsoft Word and Excel.

The hiring range for this position is $42,000.00 - $45,000.00.

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  1. Independently analyze, maintain, and reconcile Treasury bank accounts monthly to Florida PALM Ledgers, as a member of the Bank Reconciliations Team, by auditing and analyzing daily transactions, and preparing monthly reconciliation reports:
  2. Answer inquiries related to the State of Florida disbursement warrants:
  3. Receive warrant image requests from State Agencies, the Division’s Public Records Coordinator, and the Administrative Assistant II in the Director’s Office, who handles the Division’s requests from the Division’s website:
  4. Analyze, research, and resolve outstanding items:
  5. Assists in the auditing and processing of affidavits attesting to the non-benefit of payments and to misapplied payments:
  6. Prepare a monthly cash summary workbook for Senior Professional Accountant position #43000319 to review before the report’s final submission.
  7. Perform other tasks as directed within the Operations Section
