Compensation at VPD is determined by several factors, including but not limited to geographic location, education, certifications, knowledge, skills, relevant experience, internal equity, market conditions, contract requirements, and organizational needs. The projected compensation range for this position is $44,000.00 to $58,000.00 (annualized USD). While candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for the role will be considered within the posted range, placement within that range is based on the overall depth and breadth of a candidate's experience, demonstrated competencies, specialized expertise, and ability to contribute to both the position and VPD's broader organizational objectives. The salary range should be viewed as one component of VPD's broader total rewards package.

The Procurement Specialist I supports the full federal acquisition lifecycle, from requirements analysis and procurement planning through contract award and administration. The role works closely with program offices, contracting officers, and contractors to deliver compliant, cost-effective acquisitions, and supports procurement performance by developing data requirements and analyzing results against organizational goals.
