We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist who enjoys solving problems, supporting manufacturing teams, and keeping materials and purchasing processes moving efficiently.

In this role, you will support procurement and material-planning activities for Wisconsin operations. You will order maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) items and packaging materials, maintain delivery schedules, coordinate with plant teams, manage supplier interactions, and execute transactional Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities in accordance with established policies and controls.

The Procurement Specialist reports to the Regional Hub Procurement Manager and works closely with site operations, maintenance, logistics, finance, suppliers, and category management.

What You’ll Do

• Process maintenance and other indirect purchase requisitions into accurate purchase orders that reflect business requirements and negotiated terms.
• Serve as the first point of contact for indirect P2P questions, purchasing document changes, cancellations, returns, and three-way-match invoice exceptions.
• Gather information and submit requests for supplier creation; follow requests through completion and maintain purchasing and material master data.
• Archive signed contracts in Ariba Source-to-Contract and ensure transactions follow agreed controls, policies, and procedures.
• Plan packaging requirements based on forecasts and production schedules; communicate consolidated site forecasts to category management.
• Monitor MRP, inventory levels, delivery schedules, material flow, schedule changes, cancellations, and supply issues.
• Coordinate with plant and logistics teams to align material supply with operational and storage constraints.
• Identify spend outside preferred suppliers and support implementation of procurement strategies.
• Build effective supplier relationships and work with internal partners to resolve recurring or unusual issues.
• Recommend practical improvements to procurement processes, procedures, reporting, and tools.

What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications

• At least one year of hands-on experience executing Procure-to-Pay transactions and processes in SAP, including requisition management, purchase-order processing, goods receipt, and invoice resolution.
• Associate degree in materials management, supply chain, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Strong working knowledge of purchasing and material-planning processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and complex formulas.
• Ability to analyze data and create or maintain reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, customer-service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet critical deadlines while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Professional fluency in English.

Work Expectations

• This role requires on-site presence four days per workweek.
• Periodic weekend duty coverage is required.
