Job Summary:

WHO MAY APPLY: This recruitment is open to all applicants meeting the minimum requirements. Priority consideration will be given to Spokane County employees in a position covered by the 1553 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) submitting applications between 5.5.26 and 5.12.26.
This position performs highly complex technical and analytical work assisting the Purchasing Director in carrying out departmental decisions by designing, implementing, and managing the County procurement system. This position is responsible for the procurement of major equipment, supplies, services, public work and architectural and engineering services as well as routine and non-routine goods/services in support of the operations of Spokane County and its specialized projects and program needs. Work is performed with considerable independence under the direction of the Purchasing Director and is evaluated through conferences and reviews on the achievement of goals and satisfactory completion of projects and assignments.

Total Compensation:

$75,959 - $105,790 Annually

Total compensation is an estimate based upon base compensation, median retirement fund contributions, and current employer-paid health and related benefit contribution rates (including medical, dental, life insurance, long term disability, and leave). The actual total will vary depending upon each employee's enrollment choices.
