Job Summary
We are seeking a Procurement / Sourcing Specialist I to support purchasing and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for managing procurement activities, including sourcing materials and services, processing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and supporting supplier relationships. The position works closely with internal teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective purchasing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchasing requests and procurement activities
- Gather bids, pricing, and supplier quotes
- Issue purchase orders and track approvals
- Confirm receipt of goods and services
- Process invoices and ensure accuracy
- Track shipments and delivery status
- Support reporting and procurement metrics
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and supply chain teams
- Maintain supplier and vendor relationships
- Assist in negotiating pricing and contract terms
- Monitor procurement risks and ensure compliance
Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ year of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or related field
- Experience with sourcing and purchasing processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with supply chain or procurement systems
- Exposure to inventory management or vendor databases
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
