- Lead the procurement planning and execution to support execution of major infrastructure projects, ensuring that agreements are executed within a timeframe that suits programs needs;
- Contribute to the overall project planning by providing procurement activity duration and material cost estimates;
- Lead the procurement activities for construction project related professional services;
- Manage a range of contracts, including contractuction agreements with builders, PMCA, environmental, development approval, security, design and other related professional services;
- Provide thought leadership on the suite of interrelated commercial agreements which support major infrastructure projects, including financier, defence customer, landholder, developer, builders and other professional services;
- Lead supplier and stakeholder engagement to achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Develop contracting strategies and terms aligned to project scope and objectives.
- Collaborate with Lockheed Martin Properties, Production Operations and Facilities teams to leverage lessons learned and industry best practice
- Provide thought leadership into the transition from establishment to ongoing maintainance and management of the facilties
FIXED TERM 2 YEAR CONTRACTLocated in Melbourne, the Procurement Program Manager (Infrastructure) will lead the procurement and contracting activities in relation to major Defence infrastructure projects, which establish new sites, buildings and production capabilities in Australia.
- Significant experience in construction and or major infrastructure projects, preferably within Defence Industry
- Demonstrated experience in all phases of major infrastructure projects, design through handover and defects management
- Demonstrated procurement, supply chain, subcontracts and or commercial experience on complex projects;
- Demonstrated knowledge of Australian standards forms of construction contracts
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution, and/or extensive relevant experience in complex construction projects.
- Knowledge of physical Defence infrastructure security requirements
- Knowledge of major hazardous facilities
- Knowledge of capital infrastructure financing arrangements
- Knowledge of ASDEFCON contract suite and past experience working with the Commonwealth of Australia on Defence infrastructure projects
