As the Procurement Officer, you will manage sourcing, purchasing, and vendor relationships to ensure the timely, cost-effective delivery of goods and services that support NGNRI’s research and operations. You will establish and optimize procurement processes, oversee vendor selection and performance, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards. Working closely with scientific and operational teams, the successful candidate will support the acquisition of laboratory equipment, consumables, and specialized services. This is a critical enabling role, balancing cost, quality, and reliability to ensure NGNRI’s research programs run efficiently and without interruption.

The Nick Gilbert Neurofibromatosis Research Institute (NGNRI) is a nonprofit organization focused on developing treatments and cures for Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and other neurological disorders and cancers with significant unmet need. Backed by the Gilbert Family Foundation and created in partnership with Michigan State University (MSU) and Henry Ford Health (HFH), NGNRI brings together leading scientific and clinical expertise to accelerate translational discovery.
