You will be the strategic architect of our external manufacturing engine, transforming vendor relationships into growth vehicles. Your mission is to make our external manufacturing machine stronger and efficient for years to come by leading the selection, negotiation, and holistic management of finished goods partners. By seamlessly connecting our internal planning and quality teams with external suppliers, you will secure robust service levels while unlocking continuous value, portfolio simplification, and significant optimization opportunities.Your Day to Day, and The FuturePartner closely with the End to End Supply Chain to implement our long term external manufacturing strategy and expand production capabilitiesAssure total compliance and ethical alignment for new and existing external manufacturing networksNurture supplier relationships to proactively mitigate service or quality disruptions before they impact the businessLead the development, negotiation, and implementation of competitive contract agreements with external manufacturersImplement forward looking strategies that keep our external supplier network completely in tune with the evolving direction of Colgate-Palmolive business unitsIdentify and champion strategic business relationships both internally and externally to align sourcing strategies and project execution with overarching business requirementsCollaborate fluently with suppliers, technical teams, technology, marketing, and finance functions to implement procurement policies and align service and financial strategiesExecute holistic risk assessments and audits on contract manufacturers while advancing responsible sourcing initiativesAnalyze budget preparation and completion utilizing sophisticated global commodity market insightsEnsure the consistent achievement of purchasing key performance indicators including customer service, nonconformance reduction, unexpected downtime mitigation, single source management, and supplier diversity goalsAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related business/technical field8+ years of procurement experience leading external manufacturing agreementsExperience in running Requests for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs) with strong data analysis skillsSolid understanding of SAP and Google WorkspacePreferred QualificationsMaster of Business Administration or professional certification such as Certified Purchasing Manager, Certified in Planning and Inventory Management, or Project Management ProfessionalExperience working directly within production plant operationsStrong analytical and problem solving abilities with a focus on delivering practical and sustainable solutionsEffective verbal & written communication skillsAbility to engage at senior leadership levels internally and externallyCompensation and BenefitsSalary Range $124,000.00 - $174,000.00 USDPay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
