Essential Functions
- Leadership & Management
- Lead, coach, and develop Plant Buyers to ensure effective service delivery and professional growth.
- Ensure lean procurement processes and best practices are implemented consistently across all plants.
- Act as the escalation point for procurement-related issues across the region.
- Embed a performance-driven culture focused on results, compliance, and collaboration.
- Ensure All NSG Policies and Procedures are adhered to in all plants.
- Category Management – Indirects
- Deploy regional indirect strategies in alignment with global objectives.
- Analyze and manage the supply market, identifying opportunities to optimize cost, quality, risk, and sustainability.
- Negotiate and manage supplier relationships, ensuring delivery against agreed KPIs.
- Lead cost reduction, cash generation, and risk mitigation initiatives, ensuring results are captured in Group reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure category solutions address business needs while maximizing value.
- Deliver the agreed budget targets for the category in the region and ensure all savings are fully reported consistently within established Group reporting mechanisms.
- Undertake specific cross-regional projects within the category, as and when delegated by the Regional Directors.
- Act as the prime contact with regional SBU stakeholders, in relation to the category.
- Support supplier process audits (where necessary) in order to validate production to ensure that all necessary controls are in place.
- Business Performance
- Deliver annual savings and working capital improvements as set by the Procurement Director.
- Report procurement performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
- Drive ESG, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Indirects category.
- Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Scope/Dimensions:
- Regional oversight of procurement services in all manufacturing locations in the region
- Category responsibility: Indirects category in North America (annual spend of 60 million USD/ 12,000 POs / 1,400 active suppliers)
- Key measures: cost savings, working capital, risk mitigation, ESG contribution, and stakeholder satisfaction
- Member of the Regional Procurement Leadership Team, working closely with Category Managers and Global Procurement peers

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally in industrial sectors
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills
- Experience managing teams and working cross-functionally in a matrix environment
- Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Demonstrated ability to deliver savings and manage category strategies
Qualifications Desired:
- Fluency in Spanish

- Flexibility to travel domestically and overseas (expected 20% of the time)\
