Job Description
The Procurement Coordinator will provide support working with both internal and external clients regarding pre-qualification of equipment suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring certificates of insurance and payment & performance bonds are on file and accurate, and providing high level document control.
Responsibilities
- Work with both internal and external clients regarding pre-qualification of equipment suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensuring certificates of insurance and payment & performance bonds are on file and accurate
- Provide high level document control
- Support multiple mid-level procurement functions throughout the bidding and buy-out phase
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering, or relevant experience is preferred.
- Up to two years of experience working as project and/or procurement support in a construction and/or design services industry.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with online bidding systems is preferred, PMWeb and Building Connected a plus.
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize is essential in this role.
- Strong Excel and data entry skills.
- Ability to develop relationships with key internal customers and suppliers
- Possess a passion for quality, compliance and weighing risk
