This position will support the OAM mission which includes the responsibility for cradle to grave contracts support as well as financial assistance and Interagency Agreements. Some of the support activities include planning, solicitation, proposal analysis, negotiation and award of technical support services, studies, services, supplies and equipment to meet the requirements of the Department. Products or services include first-of-a-kind items which are modified or designed for the specific purpose, and are characterized by performance specifications, prototype development, testing requirements, and specialized terms and conditions.  The Acquisition/Contract Specialist will provide support services to include requirements development, pre-solicitation, solicitation, post-award, acquisition policy, administration, and closeout activities.   Position Responsibilities Minimum Experience: Individual must have demonstrated expertise in the following areas: Have a working knowledge of, and proficiency with the OAM standard applications and other systems to include: Specialized Acquisition Experience:  Preferred Experience: Benefits The following benefits are available to benefit-eligible employees (working 30+ hours per week): All positions require a background check after acceptance of our offer.
