iGaming Ontario is an agency of the Government of Ontario responsible for conducting and managing the Province’s regulated internet gaming (iGaming) market. Established in July 2021, iGaming Ontario works with private gaming operators and government stakeholders to deliver a safe, sustainable, and healthy market that operates in the public interest. iGaming Ontario is excited to offer students valuable learning opportunities through our Student Program. If you are enrolled in a co-op program, a student position with iGaming Ontario will provide meaningful hands-on experience, professional development opportunities, and exposure to Ontario’s dynamic and evolving iGaming sector. Departmental Summary iGaming Ontario’s Procurement team develops and operationalizes iGaming Ontario’s procurement policies, procedures and processes. The department works with business areas to identify procurement needs and recommend sourcing strategies.  It manages the end-to-end procurement cycle from initiation to completion. Work Description Supporting the Procurement function, you may have the opportunity to work on some or all of the following activities:

Gather inputs and assist business areas with the business case writing and procurement tendering document preparation. Support the development of procurement reports and documentations. Provide assistance in the vendor selection process and subsequent vendor management. Organize and clean up the historical procurement documents to support standardization of procurement records.

How do I qualify?

Enrolled in a post secondary program with a focus on Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting or Business. Excellent communication and organization skills. Strong problem solving and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and other MS Office applications. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Mandatory You must meet all eligibility criteria by the first day of employment:

Co-op Student Status: Enrolled as a full-time post-secondary student in a co-operative education program at a recognized institution. Work Environment: You must be living in the province of Ontario during the term of employment and you are required to work in office 5 days a week. Work Status: Eligible to work in Canada.
