In this role, you will define and execute sourcing strategies, manage supply risk, and leverage market insights to secure critical materials. You will collaborate with global teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders to drive value, compliance, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & ExecutionDefine and deliver the regional Ingredient Procurement Strategy in alignment with global objectives.Anticipate and manage category risks while capitalizing on market opportunities.Build contingency plans to safeguard supply continuity.Develop annual category plans based on business goals, productivity targets, and market intelligence.Supplier & Market EngagementBuild strong supplier relationships, ensuring performance, service, and quality.Lead strategic negotiations, supplier selection, and contract management.Track industry trends and cost drivers to identify opportunities and risks.Operational ExcellenceStreamline pricing and P2P processes to improve efficiency and compliance.Utilize spend analysis, supplier performance tools, and contract management systems.Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the category.Stakeholder CollaborationPartner with internal stakeholders to understand needs and shape sourcing strategies.Communicate category strategies, market insights, and progress to business leaders.Ensure alignment across procurement, operations, and business units.Performance ManagementDefine and monitor category KPIs.Deliver measurable cost savings, value creation, and supply assurance.Report results to regional and global leadership.Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Agricultural Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).7+ years of procurement/category management experience, ideally in food, beverage, or related industries.Proven track record in sourcing strategy, contract negotiation, and supplier management.Strong analytical and financial skills with experience in cost modeling and market research.Skilled in stakeholder management and influencing across all levels.Experience with procurement and ERP systems (e.g., COUPA, Ariba, SAP, AS400, JDE); familiarity with e-sourcing tools.Commercial acumen with knowledge of contract law and negotiation frameworks (BATNA).Global mindset with cultural, currency, and geopolitical awareness.Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.What We OfferOpportunity to shape regional strategy within a global organization.A collaborative, growth-oriented environment with international exposure.Competitive compensation, benefits, and career development opportunities.ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
