Procurement Buyer II

As a Procurement Buyer II here at Honeywell, you will play an essential role in managing procurement activities that support our aerospace operations. You will be responsible for executing purchasing tasks, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining supplier relationships to meet the needs of our business.

You will report directly to our Sr Procurement Buying Manager in Puerto Rico and you’ll work out at our Mississauga, ON location on an on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain, contributing to the successful delivery of aerospace products and services while optimizing costs and supplier performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for sending drawings through the stablished secure process. 
• Issuing RFQs, and placing purchase orders (POs) following the Aero Standard Work and following the Place Team AP-1871.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to effectively place and obtain initial Acknowledgement.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Supplier Quality, Sourcing and the Planning Team to understand urgency requirements and remove any barriers to execution. 

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and/or production / materials planning in aerospace or manufacturing sectors.

• Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations is a plus.
• Experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost control techniques.
• Proficiency with procurement software and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 in Mississauga, ON. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
