What you'll be doing
As a Procurement Associate Co-op Student, you'll play a key role in supporting communication with suppliers and assembling CIBC’s supplier contracts. You’ll gain valuable experience balancing risks and requirements while learning about CIBC’s third-party supplier risk management process. You’ll be trained to assemble lower-risk contracts using CIBC’s models and templates and will contribute to analytics and reporting. Your day-to-day will involve asking questions, engaging with suppliers, and collaborating with colleagues from CIBC’s internal business units. Attention to detail and the ability to see situations from multiple perspectives are essential in this role. If you have an interest in contracts, risk management, or are considering a future in law or business, this opportunity is for you. Additionally, you'll join our Solutions Lab, working as part of a team to bring fresh perspectives to CIBC challenges and help implement solutions that directly benefit the Procurement team.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.
