STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Procurement and Planning Manager to join the team. This position is responsible for leading and integrating purchasing, material planning, and production scheduling functions to ensure alignment with business goals, customer demand, and operational capacity. This role oversees procurement activities, supplier performance, and master production scheduling (MPS), while driving inventory optimization, delivery performance, and cost efficiency. The position manages cross-functional teams and collaborates closely with operations, finance, and supply chain stakeholders to ensure seamless flow of materials from sourcing through production and delivery. Supervisory Responsibilities

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the buying function. Directly supervises 10-20 non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problem.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
