BAE Systems Maritime Solutions Norfolk is seeking to hire a Procurement Analyst II. This Supply Chain role will be responsible for performance of maintaining compliance in accordance with Federal Acquisition Requisitions (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), Public Law, and BAE Systems Policies and Procedures, and CPSR requirements.
The individual should be able to:
  • Four (4)+ years’ work experience with HS diploma or equivalent; Two (2)+ years’ work experience with Associates Degree; and zero (0)+ years’ with Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Familiarity with defense DoD industry & regulations
  • Experience buying across various commodities (electronics, mechanical, Capital Projects maintenance contracts, etc.) 
  • Commodity Strategy Implementation 
  • Financial Acumen 
  • Project/Supplier Management 
  • Strategic/Critical Thinking 
  • Negotiating Skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills 
  • Ability to find win-win solutions; a 'make it happen' attitude 
  • Proficient use of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) 
  • Supply Chain ERP programs such as CostPoint, SREP, KTA, Exostar, Coupa, and SRDAP.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations policies and procedures
