Job Skills / Requirements
Results-driven Procurement Analyst with experience in procurement support, financial analysis, and vendor relationship management. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis, pivot tables, complex workbooks, and reporting, with a strong ability to analyze spend data, develop procurement metrics, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Experienced in preparing and analyzing procurement documentation, supporting vendor negotiations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and analyze data to support supplier solicitations, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Prepare analytic support for negotiating vendor pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost-effective outcomes.
• Developing and maintaining metrics monitoring supplier performance metrics, including quality, delivery, and service-level performance.
• Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities, spending trends, and opportunities for process optimization.
• Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and industry developments for assigned procurement categories.
• Create and maintain reports/dashboards tracking KPIs including cost savings, cycle time, compliance, and supplier performance.
• Supporting management in forecasting demand and purchasing needs
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency, standardize workflows, and strengthen internal controls.
• Collaborate with finance/accounts payable on invoice resolution.
• Partner with internal stakeholders including Finance, Operations, and department heads, to understand purchasing needs and resolve supplier-related issues.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers through clear communication, issue resolution, and ongoing performance management.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
· Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, macros and managing complex analytic workbooks.
· 3-5 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or a closely related analytical/finance role.
· Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills
· CPSM, CPM, CIPS certification or related coursework, preferred.
