Think you have what it takes? How You’ll Contribute: Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Private Equity Tax Staff to join our growing Tax practice. In this role, you'll work with private equity funds and other investment partnerships, assisting with tax compliance, investor reporting, and partnership taxation. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals while developing technical expertise and building strong client relationships. How You’ll Contribute: Assist with the preparation and review of federal, state, and local partnership tax returns. Prepare and maintain tax workpapers supporting partnership taxable income, allocations, and investor reporting. Assist with the preparation and review of Schedule K-1s and other investor tax reporting. Review your work for accuracy, identify potential tax issues, and communicate findings to senior team members. Assist with tax planning and research related to partnership and investment fund taxation, identifying tax-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Prepare tax estimates, extensions, and supporting schedules. Collaborate with partners, managers, and senior staff to meet client deadlines and deliver exceptional client service. Maintain organized workpapers and documentation while managing multiple engagements and priorities. Stay current on federal, state, and local tax laws affecting private equity and investment partnerships. Requirements What Skills You’ll Bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Master's degree in Taxation or currently pursuing a Master's in Taxation. 2+ years of public accounting or relevant tax experience, preferably with partnership or investment fund taxation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work. Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindset. CPA license or actively pursuing the CPA. Experience with private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate funds, or other investment partnerships. How You’ll Stand Out : Experience preparing partnership tax returns and Schedule K-1s. Knowledge of partnership allocations, taxable income calculations, and investor reporting. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research and apply tax regulations.
