Principal FP&A Analyst – (GovCon) Location: Fairfax, VA | Hybrid Reports to: VP of Finance

What You’ll Do
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple programs and corporate initiatives
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for revenue, margin, and cash flow analysis
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership through variance analysis and scenario planning
- Support pricing strategies and cost proposals for government contracts (T&M, CPFF, FFP)
- Partner with operations and program managers to optimize resource allocation and profitability
- Prepare Board-level presentations and investor reporting packages
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices in FP&A systems and reporting
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CFA a plus)
- 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including GovCon exposure
- Strong understanding of FAR/CAS compliance and indirect rate structures
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP and BI tools (Navision/Business Central preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or government contracting environments
