A Day in the Life
This position provides overall FP&A support, coordination, and analysis for Core IT Leadership. The role partners closely with the Finance Director to help manage the Core IT P&L and collaborates with the IT Finance Leadership Team as part of the Global IT FP&A organization.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
IT Financial Planning and Analysis
This role supports Core IT financial planning and reporting by managing forecasts, month-end close, financial statements, and strategic plan inputs.
It also serves as a key liaison on accounting standards, compliance, corporate reporting structures, vendor agreement support, and ad hoc business reviews.
Lead Core IT OpEx planning and forecasting activities including: Rolling forecast, LBE, and traditional AOP activities.
Participate in developing and presenting annual business partner training sessions.
Lead finance optimization activities and analysis for Core IT team.
Provide insight of impacts to process and procedure as activities are transitioned to Centers of Excellence.
Work on special requests, projects, and financial presentations for management as required or requested
Business partner with Leadership to ensure spending targets are adhered to through appropriate spending analysis and review
Summarize and comment on the function’s financial performance
Prepare and/or assist with financial modeling for investment that enables effective trade-off and decision making
Actively partner with IT ISM team to strategically negotiate new and ongoing maintenance agreements
Plan, investigate, and organize relevant business information that clearly identifies performance, risks and opportunities in a concise format appropriate for senior management
Apply quantitative skills to arrive at meaningful conclusions and recommendations
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree plus 7+ years of finance or accounting experience (or 5+ years with an advanced degree)
Nice to Haves
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
MBA/CPA/CMA - Finance and Accounting Knowledge
Advanced Excel skills and experience with PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
Familiarity with GFS, SAP, OneStream and PowerBI is a plus
Experience with financial modeling (NPV, IRR, etc.)
Experience interfacing with various levels of management and effectively influencing the decision-making process by taking initiative to communicate appropriate courses of action backed by sound financial analysis
Professional Leadership - Demonstrate ability to work well in a fast-moving, complex environment. Display strong influence management and interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication, and self-motivation to succeed
Exhibit flexibility in taking on multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, and working independently
Ability to work effectively under uncertainties
Ability to translate ideas and financial results into concise presentations for senior management
Strong quantitative analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
