- Develop, implement, and manage pricing strategies that maximize gross profit, EBITDA, and long-term customer value.
- Analyze customer, product, vendor, and market data to identify pricing opportunities and margin improvement initiatives.
- Lead customer and product segmentation efforts while evaluating customer profitability and recommending actions to improve account performance.
- Monitor competitive market conditions and recommend pricing adjustments that balance growth objectives with profitability.
- Partner with Sales on customer pricing reviews, contract negotiations, strategic account planning, and profitability analysis.
- Support strategic account growth while maintaining target margin expectations.
- Lead price increase initiatives and cost pass-through actions that minimize customer disruption and improve margin realization.
- Maintain enterprise pricing policies, approval processes, and governance across all branches.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and supplier partners to manage cost changes, rebates, contracts, and pricing adjustments.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline pricing processes, automation, and system capabilities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to measure pricing performance, margin trends, compliance, and profitability.
- Extract, analyze, and interpret ERP data to support pricing decisions and sales effectiveness.
- Leverage business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Train branch managers and sales teams on pricing strategy, margin management, and profitability best practices.
- Influence cross-functional teams to strengthen pricing discipline and build organizational pricing capabilities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, sales operations, finance, or industrial distribution.
- Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to build partnerships across multiple functions.
- Demonstrated ability to balance revenue growth with margin optimization.
- Experience within industrial distribution, construction products, fasteners, MRO, or related industries.
- Hands-on experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21), including pricing matrices, customer contracts, rebates, cost management, and reporting.
- Experience integrating P21 data with reporting and analytics platforms such as Microsoft Power BI.
- Proven success using ERP data to drive pricing decisions, profitability analysis, and commercial performance.
