Your role in our shared journey
Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by developing and owning the end-to-end pricing strategy across Europe's Wholesale and Direct-to-Consumer channels. In this newly created strategic role, you'll establish pricing architecture and governance frameworks whilst leading the implementation of AI-enabled pricing tools, transforming complex data into actionable insights that protect brand equity and drive margin improvement across the business.

Working closely with Category, Commercial, Finance, and Merchandising & Planning, the Pricing Manager will build the pricing frameworks, tools, and operating cadence that the business needs to make better commercial decisions. With a new AI-enabled pricing tool being introduced, this person will play a central role in making that technology work for ASICS across both Wholesale and DTC.

This is a genuinely new role and there is no established playbook to inherit. The person who joins will have real freedom and influence to shape how pricing strategy and governance works across the ASICS European business, with high autonomy, high visibility, and real commercial impact at the core of this opportunity. Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step. 

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Develop and own the comprehensive end-to-end pricing strategy across both Wholesale and Direct-to-Consumer channels throughout Europe.
• Establish robust pricing architecture and governance frameworks to protect brand equity whilst improving margins and price realisation.
• Build and implement in-season price monitoring processes and activation mechanisms to respond to market dynamics.
• Transform complex pricing data into clear, actionable recommendations and insights for commercial decision-making.
• Lead the implementation and adoption of the new AI-enabled pricing tool across the organisation.
• Create pricing dashboards, simulations and KPI frameworks to provide visibility on margin performance and business impact.
• Communicate pricing strategies and recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders including Commercial Directors, Finance Directors and the Executive Team.

You have the following skills and experience:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in retail pricing, revenue management, or commercial strategy within complex, multi-channel environments.
• Proven track record of owning or designing a pricing architecture end-to-end, including frameworks, guardrails, and governance processes.
• Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, and Planning functions at Director level and above.
• Strong understanding of both Wholesale and Direct-to-Consumer channel dynamics, including margin levers, pricing tiers, and sell-through management.
• Financial acumen: fluency in margin, price realization, and sell-through; ability to connect pricing decisions to P&L outcomes.

Skills & Competencies

• Pricing strategy, architecture, and governance: has owned or designed a pricing framework end-to-end; understands tier structures, discount guardrails, and governance processes.
• Analytical judgement: translates raw data into pricing decisions with clear cause-and-effect commercial logic.
• Executive communication and storytelling: presents complex pricing analysis to senior audiences in a clear, confident, and compelling way.
• Senior stakeholder influence: aligns directors and cross-functional teams on pricing decisions using fact-based recommendations, not positional authority.
• Entrepreneurial drive and ownership: thrives in environments without an established playbook; energised by building from scratch and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint); experience with ERP and sales data platforms (e.g. SAP); familiarity with DTC platforms and price scraping tools advantageous.
• Business-level English required; additional European language advantageous.
