Pricing Analyst

Position Summary: The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing pricing data and developing forecasts and models. Based on the industry trends, the Pricing Analyst will determine pricing and marketing strategies.

Ideal Candidate:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring Sponsorship
• Must be available to work on-site daily in Bolingbrook, Illinois (Hybrid schedule after first two weeks of employment)
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail , problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and reporting

Salary Range : $58,000-$65,000K

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assesses data from a variety of sources and uses it to derive insights into pricing strategies and market trends
• Utilizes a number of quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze competitor pricing, assess market share and margins, and track customer engagement
• Forecast revenue and market share information by using a variety of statistical modeling methods
• Prepares reports that show the potential impact of various pricing strategies, including their effect on margins and costs and how they will impact profitability and sales volume
• Actively monitors industry trends, develops strategies that take advantage of untapped market segments and helps the company gain market share in new avenues
• Implements dynamic and competitive pricing that allows the company to quickly adjust prices to enhance sales volume and conversion rates
• May be responsible for analyzing data related to return on investment (ROI) for existing marketing and promotional programs, analyze customer response to marketing efforts
• Prepares both written reports and visual presentations to share findings to key decision-makers
• Stay up to date on industry best practices in pricing and identify opportunities for process improvemen t

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years related pricing or analysis experience
• Previous work within an e-commerce environment or a related industry (e.g., industrial goods, B2B sale s).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

• Ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies and techniques to drive sales and enhance marketing efforts
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel. Power BI is a strong plus (but not required)
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work with minimal supervision
• Critical attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, team-oriented and collaborative
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and pricing tools
• Understanding of pricing principles, margin analysis, and cost accounting
• Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language
