Job Summary:
We are seeking a Portfolio Tax Manager to join our growing finance team and support the global tax function across a diverse, international portfolio of software businesses. This is a newly created role driven by portfolio growth and ongoing acquisition activity, offering broad exposure to global tax compliance, M&A support, and international tax matters in a dynamic, decentralized environment.Reporting to the Portfolio CFO, this role partners closely with U.S. and international finance teams and external advisors to deliver tax-compliant, tax-efficient outcomes while supporting the continued growth of the portfolio.
Job Description:
What You’ll Do
· Lead and coordinate global tax compliance across U.S. and international jurisdictions, including income tax filings and tax provisions.
· Support global M&A activity through tax diligence, transaction support, and post-acquisition integration.
· Advise on international tax matters, legal entity structuring, transfer pricing, and risk management.
· Act as a key point of contact for external tax advisors and support global tax audits as needed.
· Partner with portfolio finance teams to provide practical, business-oriented tax guidance.
What We’re Looking For
· Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent international designation).
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· 6+ years of experience in global tax compliance, tax provision, or international tax roles.
· Exposure to M&A transactions, including tax diligence and integration support.
· Experience with international taxation, transfer pricing, and R&D tax credits preferred.
· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly.

Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive annual base salary ranging from CAD $130,000 – $150,000, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
