Responsibilities
In this position...
You will be an integral part of the Tennessee Truck Plant (TTP) Controller’s Office team. You will assist in delivering cost targets, keep sound internal control, and modernize the Ford finance organization.
What you'll do...
- Lead the finance analysts and ensure all tasks are being completed timely and accurately
- Deploy annual budget to operating partners and assist in development of roadmap ideas to achieve the plans
- Be the interface with the operating team to address cost issues/problems they may encounter
- Present Cost Operating System to the Team Managers and Process Coaches
- Coordinate / complete ad hoc business requests in dynamic environment
- Discover and implement new technologies to modernize data and reporting
- Lead the team’s effort to modernize our reporting processes, exploring tools like Power BI, various Ai Platforms, and Alteryx to streamline workflows and improve data visualization
- Act as a trusted partner on an agile team supporting the Controller and Plant Manager
- Identify, drive, and implement cost saving ideas (think “Lean”) with operating counterparts
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office applications
- Strong Project Finance/Accounting Skills for corporate environment (forecasts, budgets, actuals, accruals, understanding cap/exp, etc.)
- Innovative Mindset / Strategic Thinking Analytical Skills – Ability to collect and quickly analyze data and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Outstanding oral and written presentation skills; ability to influence
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well across multiple functions
- The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Even better, you may have...
- Master’s degree in business or finance or CPA
- System experience a plus (Power BI, SAP, etc.)
- Experience in a manufacturing facility
