Purpose:
This role is responsible for supporting financial operations at the Rossford AA facility, including managing the monthly financial close, preparing operational and financial reports, and performing account reconciliations. It provides cost and financial analysis to improve performance, supports budgeting and standard cost updates, and contributes to cost reduction initiatives and special projects.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the monthly financial close for the Rossford AA operation and preparing value added financial and operational reports.
- Provide cost/financial analysis as required, improving the operation’s performance, being a value added resource.
- Perform required balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.
- Be local contact person to manage all AP related questions working closely with corporate AP.
- Produce daily and weekly KPI and other internal reporting.
- Assist in developing the annual budget for the Rossford AA operation.
- Perform annual Standard Cost changes for the Rossford AA operation.
- Assist in leading the cost reduction effort for the Rossford AA operation including identifying/implementing/tracking cost reduction opportunities.
- Perform financial analysis for special projects as required.
- Adhere to/enforce local, corporate, and statutory regulations regarding proper accounting policies and procedures and financial controls.
- Other duties assigned by manager.

Scope/Dimensions:
- Works cross-functionally with Plant Management, Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Corporate Finance to support business objectives and special projects.
- Responsible for accounting and financial reporting support for the Rossford automotive glass manufacturing facility, including monthly close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, standard costing, budgeting, and operational financial analysis.
- Supports plant leadership in monitoring financial performance and key business metrics by providing daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting and value-added analysis to drive cost reduction and operational improvements.

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related fields.
- Working knowledge of inventory and accounting systems, understanding of cost absorption, standard costing, and GAAP.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
- Customer focused, willing to learn the business and get involved
- Ability to work independently. Strong Analytical Skills
- Well developed interpersonal, verbal and writing skills.
Qualifications Desired:
- MBA, CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Experience with SAP preferred
Salary Range: $73,000.00 - $110,000.00
