Ready to do more than oversee compliance?

As a Private Client Services Tax Director, you'll lead relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, shape complex tax and wealth planning, and help grow the practice. Your work will span closely held businesses, investments, trusts, estates, real estate, and multigenerational wealth. You'll have room to make an impact across the full client relationship, not just the annual return.

Compensation: $225,000–$250,000 base salary + bonus/incentive compensation, depending on experience, market, client relationships, and business development experience.

What You'll Own

Lead sophisticated private client relationships and turn complex tax issues into clear, practical advice

Drive year-round income tax, wealth transfer, trust, estate, gift, and family business planning

Oversee complex individual, fiduciary, partnership, and related compliance work

Collaborate with attorneys, wealth advisors, investment professionals, bankers, and other outside advisors

Mentor Managers and Seniors while leading teams accountable for excellent client service and quality

Own engagement scope, pricing, staffing, and profitability

Expand client relationships, develop referral sources, and work with Partners to grow the practice

What You Bring

10+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience, with private client leadership at the Director, Senior Manager, Principal, or equivalent level

CPA credentials; an MST, JD, or LLM is a plus

Deep experience advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients on individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift tax matters

The judgment to lead complex planning and client relationships, not just review compliance work

A record of developing teams and communicating confidently with clients and their advisors

Business development experience and referral relationships are highly valued

Why Take the Call?

If you've mastered the technical work and want greater ownership of client relationships and practice growth, this role gives you a path to build toward Partner-level responsibility. You'll work directly with Partners, lead meaningful planning, and help shape what comes next for the Private Client Services practice.
