This will be a hybrid position based out of our Santa Ana office.

As a Project Manager - Tax with Asure, you are responsible for delivering awesome to our customers and partners. Leveraging your project management expertise and masterful communication skills – you will drive significant initiatives for the organization managing large scale enterprise projects. Core to the role is planning project milestones, providing project overviews, gathering documents and requirements, partnering with cross department personnel, and measuring key performance indicators throughout the project lifecycle.

You will partner with some of the most talented people across the Human Capital Management (HCM) industry. Our Project Manager will have a high degree of visibility within the enterprise and drive successful delivery of strategic enterprise projects.

• You will plan and develop project timelines, define key milestones and success criteria, manage resource allocation, solve issues, provide on-time product delivery, and measure against key performance indicators
• You will build and develop a core project team to ensure maximum performance - providing purpose, direction, and motivation
• Communicate schedules, priorities, risks and status to all levels to leadership
• Contribute to defining, identifying, and implementing corrective actions for successful product delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll tax payment and/or filing experience.
• High degree of competency around IRS Form 941 and 941-X filings.
• ERC filing and amendment experience a plus!
• Advanced excel and payroll software skills.
• Experience working with tax software helps.
• Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Outlook, Evolution Payroll software (preferred, but not required), or other payroll tax software experience.
• Strong communication skills- written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply basic concepts in new situations.
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as work independently and make sound decisions.
• Employee will be expected to deliver timely and accurate results.
