Responsibilities
- Utilize Ceridian Dayforce (a must) as the payroll system of record (Dayforce experience is a mandatory requirement).
- Manage day-to-day payroll processing, including PTO, timecards, payroll adjustments, and one-time payroll audits.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll and wage regulations.
- Process and administer employee garnishments accurately.
- Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and taxes.
- Partner closely with the hiring manager on payroll-related matters.
- Support payroll-related benefits deductions and employee benefit inquiries.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and payroll records.
- Associate degree preferred.
- 3 – 5 years of payroll experience.
- Working knowledge of current laws and upcoming regulation changes related to employee compensation and tax issues such as the Fair Labour Standards Act and multi-state minimum wage regulations.
- Working knowledge of Company time, attendance and payroll policies upon completion of training.
- Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to craft timely, clear and concise emails keeping the recipient party in mind is imperative.
- Meticulous attention to detail required, including exceptional mathematical and calculation skills.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
