NOW HIRING: Payroll Specialist

Compensation: $24.00-$25.00 per hour

Job Overview

The Payroll team is responsible for all activities required to complete the payroll process. The Payroll Specialist l will perform tasks to establish and maintain employee/payroll records for weekly and biweekly multi-state payrolls. Duties may include entering timecard adjustments, new hires, retros, and bonuses into the payroll system. The Payroll Specialist l must demonstrate general understanding in the following areas of payroll processing, time and attendance, and operational best practices.

Education and/or Experience

Minimum 1 year of Payroll experience in a fast-paced, multi-state, demanding environment

High School Diploma required.

Experience working with larger payroll systems that integrate or interface with other systems

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

May be required to have a valid driver’s license.

FPC designation preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Good written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

Proficiency in Microsoft applications

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
