Job DescriptionMaintaining consistent employee data confidentiality, perform a variety of specialist administrative tasks associated with payroll operations. Process wage/salary payments and audits time entries. Utilize automated time and attendance software and programs in day-to-day operations. Handle general inquiries regarding payroll, time, and attendance. Provide triage and cycled administrative support to the Payroll function to process a bi-weekly payroll. Identify potential issues for further investigation by Payroll Management as requested. Operate under general supervision.1. Audit Payroll data, EIB imports, retro transactions, entries, and totals each cycle, and ensure data accuracy, compliance, and quality controls2. Perform proactive payroll audits prior to commencing the next payroll cycle3. Validate time and attendance entries, guiding managers through adjustments as needed4. Monitor, verify, and edit data during the payroll input process5. Provide Workday bi-weekly/monthly payroll reports to various departments, within 48 hours of payroll processing6. Work with Human Resources staff to coordinate payroll transactions, provide payroll data and forecast compensation items, e.g., overtime, paid time off payout, earnings eligibility, deduction amounts, etc.7. Manage all Workday help case tickets regarding payroll inquires8. Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance9. Resolve any payroll issues with associate tax withholdings or benefit deductions10. Manage HR and Payroll documents s prior to the beginning of the next payroll cycle11. Coordinate, research, and resolve case inquiries, including verification of employment vendor inquiries and employee payroll related questions12. Train associates and managers on submitting and approving time in WD Time Tracking13. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed14. Prioritize daily workload to effectively meet deadlines15. Process On Demand payments or onsite manual checks as needed16. Run biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for audit purposes17. Review all new hire information during the onboarding process18. Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization19. Perform additional duties as assignedQualifications1. High school diploma or equivalent2. Three (3) to (5) five years of experience in Payroll, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience3. Working knowledge of Payroll or Accounting practices4. Working knowledge of wage and hour, payroll related laws and regulations5. Accurate data entry and math skills6. Understand all aspects of Workday time and attendance activities7. Strong interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with various levels of management8. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail9. Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel (Pivot tables and lookups), Teams, and OutlookDesired Qualifications:1. Working knowledge of Workday Payroll and Time Tracking modules2.
