As Apple continues to grow its global presence in new and existing markets, the GBS organization is also growing to better manage and operate the regional sites and drive global coordination.Apple’s H2R Compensation Services Team is seeking a Global Payroll Specialist skilled at providing the highest quality support to our business partners, 3rd party vendors and employees in a highly dynamic fast paced environment. The Payroll Specialist will be working with internal and external partners to ensure proper payments to 3rd party vendors and regulatory agencies. We’re looking for an individual who’s innovative, driven, collaborative and trustworthy; someone that is flexible, manages change, and thoroughly understand processes across functional groups.Manage the payment life cycle from auditing the accuracy of the invoice/payments, submitting the payment on time , confirming payment successful/received and addressing questions or errors with payments as needed.\\nSubmit daily, routine and ad hoc payroll benefits, pension and tax payments on behalf of the business and in compliance to Apple policy and procedure.\\nReview and analyze various vendor reports to determine necessary updates required and/or work directly with vendors to ensure records are updated accordingly.\\nDesign and develop processes that improve accuracy and efficiency and meet the needs of benefits, payroll operations, management and regulatory agencies.\\n\\nSome of the key responsibilities include:\\n\\nAdminister all invoice / payment advice processing, submissions, approval and payment workflows ensuring adherence to Apple Finance policy and Regulatory Agency policy.\\nReconcile/ Audits totals between invoices, vendor detail reports and payroll system reports by department, location, country, wage type, etc.\\nProvide support, documentation and training to business on the Hire to Retire vendor payment process and reconciliations.\\nOrganize meetings with cross functional teams to review current processes and resolve payment or delays as needed.\\nPerforms other payroll processing duties and special projects as directed\\nClosely monitor and review payment rejections. 3-5 years experience in Payroll, Accounting or Finance working across multiple services.\\nBachelor"s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent\\nIntermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel\\nTechnical aptitude with database management and analysis and/or AI tools\\nKnowledge of Vendor Payment process end to end process\\nUnderstanding of benefits and payroll administration, processes and toolsAbility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a global, fast-paced environment\\nAbility to problem solve and effectively prioritize workload\\nComfortable working with cross functional teams across multiple business functions\\nGreat teammate who is willing to assist other team members in getting the job done\\nObsess over the customer experience and view each and every inquiry as an opportunity to care and support others; able to create methods to keep an eye on quality without missing key deadlines.\\nCan navigate highly complex business needs without a clearly defined path and where you see a need, to bring a well thought solution.\\nFind love in the details and are action oriented; Use data to tell a compelling story of successes and opportunities; Creating action plans and driving improvements is something you enjoy.\\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal with strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels.
