Job Summary: | The Payroll Shared Services Specialist, under the direction of the Payroll Shared Services Program Manager, provides day-to-day payroll support for participating and assigned units at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus, School of Medicine. Functions of the Payroll Specialist include monthly and bi-weekly payroll processing for all university employee groups, hospital payment entries, funding distribution and allocation Updates, and FAMLI/FMLA coordination and entry. In addition, the Payroll Shared Services Specialist provides guidance and interpretation of Federal, State, University, and School of Medicine laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, assuring compliance in a variety of payroll areas. Work Location: | Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of three (3) days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. |

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $52,793 to $70,742. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
