APPLICATION PROCESS 

The first step in the application process is to attend the info session.
The info session covers important program information, and program dates, overviews the application process, and features a Q&A session with panelists. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered. Please email recruitment@mediamkrs.org to learn more. 

The round 1 application is due Monday, June 8th,2026 at 11:59 pm ET. Applications timestamped after the aforementioned date and time will not be accepted. 

ABOUT THE TRAINING

This course will cover how to:

• Roles and responsibilities of the 2nd Assistant Accountant and Assistant Payroll Accountant within TV/Film productions
• Documentation related to accounts payable and payroll, including purchase orders, invoices, and check requests
• Overview of related software and accounting concepts, labor laws, union contracts, and production tax credits

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST: 

• Be at least 21+years old
• Eligible to work in the US
• Must be a NJ Resident
• Not enrolled in full-time education
• Must have relevant production experience with exposure to accounting on a TV Show, Feature Film, or similar project
• Must have proficient computer skills, including spreadsheets and Word documents

Preferred, but not required

• Experience as a Production Payroll Clerk and/or Accounting Clerk preferred
