We are seeking a Payroll Implementation Manager to join our team. This role will assist the SVP of Payroll in the implementation and integration of iSolved products to on-board new clients either from an existing payroll system or from their previous HCM.
Job Qualifications included but not limited to:
- High School or equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 years of payroll experience in a complex environment including multiple pay groups and pay cycles within a payroll service bureau (PSB).
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Prior working experience within a PSB may include Sales (B2B), Account Manager, Payroll Implementation and/or conversion, and/or Payroll Client Services Specialist, etc. preferred.
- Must possess and be able to demonstrate strong influencing and closing skills.
- American Payroll Association certification (FPC or CPP) preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of payroll tax laws at the federal and state levels.
- Experience and operating knowledge of at least two payroll/HCM systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Workday, Paychex, or Ceridian with experience in iSolved strongly preferred.
- Excellent client relationship building skills.
- Experience handling mid-to-large size payrolls.
- Implementation and project management experience.
- Excellent knowledge of payroll and time systems, production environment and implementation practices.
- Excellent professional oral, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with all levels of management.
- Bilingual a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and must possess a positive attitude.
- Attention to accuracy and detail in processing information.
- Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
- Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant federal and state payroll taxes and legislation a plus.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity.
- Excellent work ethic and desire to succeed.
- Proficient in Windows based computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite), advanced Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) and data import/export. Internal systems; iSolved, Newtracker, etc. External systems; MasterTax, etc.
Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Collaborate with the Implementations team to ensure that all projects are running on schedule and that management is kept in the loop of all progress or outstanding requests or tasks are being tackled.
- Attend implementation, Sales, and Payroll Team meetings as schedule/assigned; verbal/written participation will be required.
- Remain engaged with the client throughout implementation, until the client is successfully and accurately transferred to Client Services.
- Document the implementation process and keep checklist and project plans up to date; keep all conversations, timelines and project plans in the Payroll Shared Drive.
- Implement Newtek (iSolved) HCM's full service and/or standalone solutions following Newtek's guidelines, and in accordance with client expectations.
- Work with clients to help them streamline their payroll process and improve automation and efficiency.
- Work closely and strategically with the implementation team to determine the internal and external resources required to implement client projects and identify areas of on-going improvement.
- Collaborate with Client Services to transition new clients to the service team.
- Provide Client Services Management with detailed processing notes and communicates and trains Client Services.
