The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).

$22.64 - $29.42

Position Overview

Serves as a customer advocate and provides efficient and effective Payroll solutions. Communicates issue updates with applicable stakeholders. Works as a liaison between payroll team and employees. Recognizes, researches, and escalates Payroll issues in response to phone/email inquiries received from internal users.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:    High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:    Three years customer service experience required. Payroll experience strongly preferred. Workday experience a plus.
Other Credentials:    
Knowledge and Skills:    Strong client relationship, interpersonal and organizational skills. Proficiency in multi-tasking, setting priorities, and timely follow up. Ability to manage and maintain large sets of highly sensitive and confidential information. Project and time management skills.
Special Training:    
Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities:    Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints. Ability to learn and apply basic concepts in new situations. Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment as well as work independently and make sound decisions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Works as liaison between employees and Payroll. Serves as a customer advocate and follows up on user calls to ensure proper and timely resolution of problems.
Keeps manager current on the status of all outstanding issues. Communicates issue updates in accordance with end user needs and established policy.
Attends departmental staff meetings to meet communication expectations of the customer.
Resolves routine customer concerns with pre-defined solutions. Recognizes, researches, and escalates Payroll issues in response to phone/email inquiries received from internal users.
Demonstrates top performance and a passion for excellence. Meets and surpasses goals successfully. Identifies and prioritizes critical issues. Circumvents problems as they arise to maintain focus on issues.
Creates and communicates clear and concise directions for staff and customers while realizing possibilities and opportunities.
Completes resolutions and needs of organization in a timely manner.
Provides superior quality and outstanding customer service.
Performs other duties as assigned.
