Payroll Co-op Student - Fall 2026

The Finance Shared Services team provides transactional, payroll, credit, treasury, data analysis and client services to the J.D. Irving, Limited group of Companies. The Payroll Student position is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure in financial shared services with a large and diversified company. 

• Work with payroll team to identify improvement opportunities 
• Compile and analyze payroll transactions to identify trends 
• Complete reporting and reconciliations 
• Assist with year-end activities and tax form completion, including participating in external audits

• University Business/Commerce Degree Student in Good Academic Standing 
• Available for the Fall 2026 Co-op Work Term Period
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on MS Excel

• Curious with a Process Improvement Mindset
• Long Term Career interest in Accounting, Finance and/or Analytics
