Job Description

Part -time remote position for:

•    Establishing different accounts in QuickBooks

•    Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying

•    Maintaining subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions

•    Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts in QuickBooks

•    Maintaining a balanced general ledger

•    Monthly closings and statements 

•    Preparing a trial balance for the accountants

•    Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting for information

•    Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements

•    Assisting in financial activities such as running payroll and generating invoices

•    Maintaining payroll information by collating timesheets, calculating and entering time data in APD

•    Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions

•    Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages

•    Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries

•    Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures

•    Processing and issuing W-2 forms and 1099’s 

Qualifications

Must have 3-4 years of working Knowledge of APD and QuickBooks software. 

Must have 3-4 years of payroll experience working with ADP.

Must have 3-4 years of QuickBooks experience.

Must possess the ability to analyze transactions.
