The Role You'll Play to Create Success
We are happy to announce a full-time Payroll Assistant position filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact FrankCrum business everyday by performing E-Verify, keying employee data and assisting with basic payrolls.
Handles a permanent processing schedule totaling 65 or more points per week while assisting other team members process payrolls as needed.
Reviews and enters employee maintenance with accuracy and completeness in time sensitive situations, ensuring FrankCrum, Federal, State and Locals rules and regulations.
Maintains excellent accuracy and attention to detail by following balancing procedures with payrolls of basic levels.
Assists with monitoring the Payroll Queue, with the expectation of processing at least 20-25 payrolls per year.
Assists with client account coverage during planned and unplanned absences across all payroll teams..
Assists clients with commonly used HRIS system functions
Compiles reports for clients as requested.
Assists with email and phone coverage
Performs basic payroll audits, including self-audits
Assists with data cleanup and/or data entry as needed for special projects and system conversions
Demonstrates professionalism and provides exceptional service and support to both client and internal employees
Demonstrates basic knowledge of FLSA, state, and local payroll rules and regulations
Demonstrates basic knowledge of FrankCrum polices and core software systems
Demonstrates basic understanding of all paid time off accrual types, including state rules and regulations, and how to properly apply them in current systems
Exhibits effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, including email organization
Adheres to established work schedule and requests PTO in a responsible manner
Clocks in and out consistently and accurately by using the electronic time clock system for all time worked and does not perform any work when not clocked in.
The Attributes We Seek
Keys to success in this position include a high school diploma and customer service experience. Excel, Outlook, and Adobe knowledge and bilingual a plus.
