Payroll & Reporting Coordinator
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Reports To: Human Resources Manager

Position Summary

Muschlitz Excavating is seeking a Payroll & Reporting Coordinator to support payroll operations for our growing construction organization. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll, payroll reporting, reconciliations, audits, and employee support. The position serves as a key liaison between Human Resources, Accounting, field operations, and employees. In addition to payroll administration, the role requires strong Excel and analytical skills to validate data, identify discrepancies, perform reconciliations, and produce meaningful payroll reports.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Work is primarily performed in an office environment, with occasional visits to shop, yard, warehouse, and construction operations. The position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, use a computer for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 20 pounds, and perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
