About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for proper and prompt technical work processing payroll and finance data, entering accurate personnel data, and other payroll and finance related duties. Assists with annual financial audit and other department reporting. Provides high-level customer service to employees and staff on payroll and department related matters. Position must maintain confidentiality of all employee matters and all duties must be performed in accordance with state and federal regulations. Start date: July 1st, 2026
Contract: 260/261 days

Requirements & Qualifications
Two years of post-secondary schooling in the business or accounting area and/or related experience in accounting or finance. Prior experience in school finances preferred.

Salary & Benefits
Starting Salary Range Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 

Benefits package: Tier 1 Coordinators Benefits Package, which includes access to Medical, Dental, Life, Long-Term Disability Insurance, and 403(b), plus Earned Safe and Sick Time and Minnesota Paid Leave, as required by law.
