About Our Opportunity

Working within the mission, vision, values, and person-centred philosophy of the Agency, the Payroll and Benefits Specialist is responsible for the efficient and accurate administration of payroll, employee benefits, pension processes, and related systems operations. Working collaboratively across Finance and Human Resources, the role leads payroll processing, benefits and pension administration, leave coordination, system optimization, reporting, compliance, and continuous process improvement initiatives. The Payroll and Benefits Specialist plays a key role in supporting integrated people systems and ensuring payroll and benefit practices align with Agency policies, legislative requirements, and best practices.  The role works with team members in Finance and HR, and supports leaders and staff across all programs. It also works with external group benefit and pension providers extensively.
