•Manage full-cycle bi-weekly payroll. •Calculate and process stipends, longevity payments, and salary increases as dictated by union contracts. •Manage time and attendance tracking for hourly employees, including substitutes and custodial staff. •Oversee monthly reporting and contributions to the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System and the Worcester Country Retirement Board. •Manage mandatory OBRA deductions for part-time, seasonal, or temporary employees. •Process all deductions including state and federal taxes, health insurance premiums, 403(b) contributions, and union dues. •Enroll employees in benefits including health and life insurance. •Prepare and file quarterly and year-end tax forms (941s, W-2s). •Act as the primary point of contact for staff regarding pay discrepancies, direct deposit, and tax withholding. •Verify employment for mortgage applications and loan forgiveness programs. •Prepare data for annual state reporting and audits •Complete employee retirement forms
