As our Payroll Analyst, you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting accounts payable, employee reimbursements, benefits administration, and financial reporting.
Payroll & Employee Support
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
- Calculate wages, shift differentials, deductions, taxes, and direct deposits.
- Process employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations within the payroll system.
- Audit and verify timecard records and payroll data.
- Enter payroll adjustments and maintain payroll accuracy.
- Import and process employee mileage reimbursements.
- Respond to employee payroll questions and provide outstanding customer service.
- Participate in new employee orientation and educate staff on payroll procedures, earned time, and reimbursement processes.
Financial Reporting & Reconciliation
- Reconcile payroll information, benefit deductions, earned time balances, and related records.
- Prepare payroll accruals, journal entries, cash entries, and tax-related transactions.
- Support audits and provide requested payroll and financial documentation.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and vendor files.
Accounts Payable & Finance Support
- Process weekly accounts payable batches.
- Ensure vendors receive timely and accurate payments.
- Assist with bank deposits and other finance-related activities.
- Provide backup support for employment verifications and vendor payment processing.
What We're Looking For
- Strong payroll processing experience with exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations, taxes, deductions, and benefit administration.
- Experience with accounts payable and financial reconciliations preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Requirements- Associate’s degree or higher preferred with a major in business administration or accounting, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
- Two years of payroll, benefits and accounting experience and/or general office experience.
- Experience utilizing Paylocity a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with multiple pay rate structures.
